G.I.R.L.: new website and CRM from scratch

Girls International Racing Lab (G.I.R.L.) brings girls and women together around motorsport, with racing events, experiences and community. We built their new English-language website from scratch. We also built the CRM behind it, which runs the website's forms, events and press coverage.

The front page of girlsinternationalracinglab.com as it looked in October 2026.

The figures from the website and the code

770automated tests in the CRM, 770 of 770 passed

Source: Vitest in the CRM's code, 43 test files, run on 6 October 2026.

What it doesn't show

That the tests run automatically before each release, since they are not run automatically. The website's own tests are not included.

16pages on the website's list for Google, and 16 of 16 respond

Source: The website's sitemap.xml and a request to each address on 6 October 2026, all returning HTTP 200.

What it doesn't show

Whether the pages are shown or clicked on Google, since we have no access to the website's Search Console data. And only 15 of the 16 pages may appear in Google's results.

100Lighthouse score for best practices, on 16 of 16 pages

Source: Lighthouse 12.8.2, mobile, one run per page on the website's list for Google, 6 October 2026.

What it doesn't show

That the website is secure or free of errors, since Lighthouse is Google's automated checklist, not a review of the website.

What we did

  1. March 2026A new website and a CRM, both built from scratch. The CRM got an admin panel with login and twelve email templates.
  2. April 2026Events and sign-ups in the CRM, with a page and sign-up for each event on the website. The new website replaced the old one on 8 April 2026.
  3. May 2026CRM email goes through the client's own Google Workspace, and the "Make it yours" tool creates Instagram images. Unfinished profiles are never deleted automatically; a person decides.
  4. July and August 2026The CRM gathers press coverage from Google News, turns emails to the shared inbox into contacts and flags bounced emails for the team to act on.
  5. September 2026The press page is now built by the CRM instead of by hand. The website's list for Google automatically includes the events the CRM has published.
  6. October 2026Clean-up with fixed limits: health data 30 days after the event, emails and enquiries 12 months, sign-ups 12 months after the event. First run due 12 October 2026.
