LabCut: new website and visibility on Google

LabCut makes signs, vinyl wrapping, laser cutting and engraving for businesses, with design, production and fitting from Kalundborg in Denmark. We built their new website from scratch, and since then we have worked on how it is found on Google.

The front page of labcut.dk as it looked in October 2026.

The figures from Google

174clicks from Google in 28 days

vs 93 the same 28 days in 2025, on the old website

Source: Google Search Console for labcut.dk, 6 September to 3 October 2026 vs 6 September to 3 October 2025, retrieved 5 October 2026.

What it doesn't show

Whether the clicks became customers, or how many people searched for the name LabCut, since Google only shows the search term for 66 of the 174 clicks, and 63 of those contain the name.

646different searches the website appeared in

vs 195 the same 28 days in 2025

Source: Google Search Console for labcut.dk, same two periods, retrieved 5 October 2026.

What it doesn't show

The full number, since Google hides rare searches, so the real figure is higher in both years.

22.1average position on Google (lower is better)

vs 33.6 the same 28 days in 2025

Source: Google Search Console for labcut.dk, same two periods, retrieved 5 October 2026.

What it doesn't show

That the website is on the first page, since 22.1 is an average across many searches and usually means page 2 or 3.

What we did

  1. March 2026A new website, built from scratch.
  2. May 2026The new website replaced the old WordPress site on labcut.dk. Nine new pages, pages on cookies and legal terms, and form messages arrive straight by email.
  3. June 2026The contact form is protected against spam.
  4. September 2026Ten new pages on materials, pipe markers and the Zealand region. The gallery images are much smaller, and the cookie policy matches what the website actually does.
  5. September 2026Titles and headings are consistent across the pages, and Google had registered all 26 addresses on the website's list the same evening.
  6. October 2026Visitors can call from the mobile menu, and the form is easier to fill in on a phone. Titles and descriptions use the words people actually search for.
